Phantom Perfumery was founded on the belief that fine perfumery is both an art and a legacy, one that deserves patience, knowledge, and respect.
Our fragrances are handcrafted and hand-poured in small batches, allowing us to work closely with rare and exceptional raw materials. We source ingredients for their natural complexity, provenance, and historical value, materials that have been used for centuries in fine perfumery, long before fragrance became a mass-market product.
Each perfume is given time to mature, macerating for at least one year so the raw materials can fully integrate, soften, and reveal their depth. This slow process honors traditional perfumery practices and results in fragrances that evolve naturally rather than relying on shortcuts.

Each fragrance is housed in fine handmade glass, double-painted in matte black to protect the oils from light, and finished with a natural wood cap. The design serves a purpose, preserving the integrity of the perfume and honoring what lies within.
Phantom Perfumery does not seek to overwhelm or follow trends. It exists to preserve the soul of fine perfumery and to reintroduce its meaning slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention.

the Founder
Phantom Perfumery was founded by Abdulaziz Salam, a perfumer shaped by movement, heritage, and culture.
Of Palestinian origin, raised in Saudi Arabia, and later living in America, his relationship with fragrance was formed across continents—where scent was not a luxury, but a language. In the Middle East, fragrance is ritual, identity, and hospitality. Oils, bakhoor, woods, and resins are woven into daily life, memory, and spirituality.
Growing up between cultures allowed him to experience perfumery not as a product, but as presence.
As he moved west, he recognized a widening gap, where perfumery had become commercialized, loud, and disconnected from its roots. This contrast became the foundation of Phantom: to reintroduce depth, patience, and cultural reverence into Western perfumery, without imitation or dilution.
Rather than learning from a single tradition or institution, his education in fine perfumery was shaped globally, studying raw materials, formulation, maceration, and olfactive structure from diverse schools of thought. This cross-cultural approach allowed him to blend Eastern richness with Western restraint, creating fragrances that feel intimate, refined, and timeless.
